Grace is a senior IS major with a concentration in Cooperation and Conflict and a minor in Hispanic Studies. She is from Albany, New York. She is proficient in Spanish, and recently studied abroad in Granada, Spain. In the summer after her sophomore year, Grace received an Eagle Intern Fellowship grant from the BC Career Center for her internship with the State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, where she gained a first-hand perspective of diplomacy in practice. More recently, Grace began a research internship with the Boston College Center for Human Rights and International Justice where she assists with research pertaining to transitional justice, the United States DACA policy, and migration issues. Grace helped found the International Studies Student Association on campus and currently serves on its Executive Board. She is also involved in the Boston College Mock Trial Program, Chorale, and 4Boston, through which she volunteers in a Sheltered English Immersion classroom in Brighton. Grace took the pilot version of the IS course “Where on Earth?” in Fall 2018, and has spent several sessions in the Global Engagement Portal.
