Michael Crowley is presently serving as an Assistant United States Attorney in Boston and has been serving in Massachusetts since 2009. He is presently a member of the Organized Crime and Gang Unit of the Office after serving in the Major Crimes Unit. Prior to his tenure in Boston, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of California in the San Diego Office beginning in 2003. At the Southern District, he was initially a member of the General Crimes Unit followed by an assignment in the Narcotics Unit in which he prosecuted not only large, international drug trafficking organizations but also organized crime and streetgang cases. He began his career in private practice as a litigator involved in labor and employment law at two large firms. He is an undergraduate of Harvard College and has a law degree from the Duke University School of Law where he was a member of the Duke Law Review.
