Advanced Evidence: Trial Objections
Eugenia M. (Genie) Carris has been an Adjunct Professor since 2016 and teaches Advanced Evidence: Trial Objections and Prosecutorial Ethics. She is currently the General Counsel for the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General. She spent 22 years at the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) in Boston, where she was most recently the Deputy Chief of the Public Corruption & Special Prosecutions Unit. She has extensive litigation experience in both criminal and civil matters. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and is a proud graduate of Boston College Law School. Following law school, she clerked for The Honorable Mark L. Wolf of the United States District Court in Massachusetts. She spent several years in private practice at a large Boston firm. She has extensive litigation and trial experience, having worked as a Special Assistant District Attorney and for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
