Congratulations to Mary Ann Glynn (pictured above at right) for completing five distinguished years on the Academy of Management’s Executive Committee Board of Governors. Glynn's service was recognized at the 2019 annual Academy of Management meeting. She served as president of the Academy from 2017–18; her presidential address is published at: Glynn, M.A. April 2019. PhD student Liz Hood received Best Reviewer Awards for conference papers from two divisions of the Academy of Management: Managerial & Organizational Cognition and Gender and Diversity in Organizations (August 2019).
Richard Nielsen has been named by the Society for Business Ethics as one of 10 professors considered pioneers in the development of the field and as one of the ten professors videotaped for the Society's oral history project, funded by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Darden School of the University of Virginia.
