Srinidhi Krishnamoorthy
In this series, we highlight BC MBA students’ summer internships, featuring their firsthand accounts of navigating internships across various industries and roles.
This summer, Srinidhi Krishnamoorthy (MBA ’25) is a finance intern at Stride, Inc., an EdTech company headquartered in Virginia.
How did you secure your internship?
Srinidhi Krishnamoorthy: I got this internship primarily through networking. I reached out to a contact in Stride’s finance department, I learned about the opening and was referred to this role. All the interviews I had during my internship search was a result of networking with BC alumni and personal contacts, or through networking sessions hosted at the Carroll School. My career advisor guided me through the basics of networking and helped me prepare for all my different interviews.
How has the first year of your BC MBA prepared you for your internship?
SK: While I come with a foundation in finance, this internship presents a chance to both analyze financial data and to understand how financial decisions align with overall corporate strategy. I believe the first year of my MBA has enhanced my ability to think strategically, communicate effectively, and look at the larger picture and identify what can drive better business decisions.
What do you hope to gain from your internship?
SK: I aim to establish meaningful connections with senior leadership. I hope to contribute by enhancing process efficiency within the FP&A team and learn how these financial decisions make a larger impact on the growth of the company.
