Richard Jang

This summer, Richard Jang (MBA ’24), is interning at PwC as senior associate in the firm's deals transformation division in Boston, MA.

How did you secure your internship?

My internship was secured by working extensively with my career advisor, networking with BC alumni at PwC, practicing cases on the Case Questions Interactive website, and obtaining guidance from second-year BC MBA students who interned at PwC last summer.

How have your MBA studies prepared you for your internship?

I'm confident the BC MBA core curriculum (accounting, data analytics, economics, management, marketing, and finance courses) will help me succeed in the consulting profession, which requires a wide range of knowledge. For the Spring ’23 semester, the electives I chose were finance and management courses because the team that I will be joining at PwC advises corporate clients going through mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

What do you hope to gain from your internship?

I hope to gain access to PwC's major network of professionals and clients to learn valuable industry knowledge and make important connections. The experience working on deals and witnessing the corporate M&A cycle firsthand will give me a better sense of global economic conditions and drivers of M&A activity.
