Student White Paper on Diversity Takes Top Prize

Saamia Bukhari ’22 won first place in a national white paper competition hosted by DJJ Capital that addressed the question, “Does Board Diversity Impact Corporate Performance?” In her winning submission, The Power of Board Diversity, Bukhari cited empirical evidence that diversity can positively affect a company’s bottom line as well as drive innovation from within, making the case that “board diversity is powerful as long as the structures and culture around give it the room to be.”
