Three Carroll School juniors placed second in the Michael Smith Regional Ethics Case Competition, hosted virtually by Providence College on November 7. Bijoy Shah, Quinn Sheehan, and Richard Sunden took home a $1,200 prize for their response to the case, which asked teams to devise contract tracing technology solutions for the coronavirus pandemic, including ways to incentivize usage. “They were fantastic and prepared very long and hard for this!” said Associate Dean Amy LaCombe, who served as their adviser. Eight teams competed in total.
