Moral Philosophy and Behavioral Ethics; and Moral and Political Implications of Contemporary Capitalism.
Professor Jeremy Evans received a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014, and currently teaches courses in Ethics at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. His courses focus on a variety of issues in the philosophy of capitalism and the ethics and politics of business.
Professor Evans also occasionally teaches in the Philosophy Department at Tufts University.
His research interests are at the intersection of normative ethics and moral psychology. Broadly, he is interested in how a better understanding of our natures as valuing creatures can inform our methods of moral decision-making at the individual and collective level.
