March 27, 2025 at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET • Registration ClosedJoin the Boston College Veterans Alumni Network for a special presentation on the unique experiences, challenges, and triumphs of being a member of a military family. Our all-volunteer military families experience incredible stresses through peace and war unlike those experienced by the greater civilian population including the ever-present threat to families during wartime service. Learn some of the ways in which military families adjust and adapt to these experiences and thrive in the midst of them. Julie Canfield, Ph.D., LICSW, is a clinical instructor in the BC School of Social Work and a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in the Boston area where she specializes in providing behavioral healthcare to service members, veterans, spouses, partners, military children and families impacted by military service.
