Andres Eduardo Nieto Vallejo received his B.S. degree in electronic engineering in 2014 and his M.S. degree in the same field in 2016, both from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, Colombia. He is a full-time Professor at Departamento de Diseño, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and also works as a consultant in digital product development for external companies. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in engineering, and his research interests include human activity recognition, human anomaly behavior detection, assistive technologies, and telecare systems.
