Dear BC Students,
We hope this e-mail finds you well and resettled in your new living space. It is very strange for those of us still on campus not to have you here at this time of the year. The energy and spirit you bring to the campus environment is sorely missed by all of us.
As we adjust to this period of unprecedented change and uncertainty, please know that students remain at the forefront of all that we do. So, you may now be asking yourself, What are we doing on campus these days?
Many of the Student Affairs departments and campus partners have moved their program and service offerings online as highlighted in the listing below. We have also compiled a list of Student Affairs-specific frequently asked questions which we will continue to update, and for ongoing University COVID-19 communications, visit bc.edu/coronavirus.
We look forward to staying in touch with you throughout the remainder of the semester. If you have questions or need to discuss something, please do not hesitate to e-mail me, or you can set up an appointment to speak with me by phone or through Google Chat or Hangouts.
Let’s all find ways to remain in community—virtually. Please continue to practice social distancing and extend kindness and support to those around you. Be well, and please stay in touch.
Sincerely,
Joy Moore ’81, Hon. ’10
Vice President for Student Affairs

University Counseling Services
University Counseling Services remains available to speak with clients by phone. If you find yourself in need of support, Counseling Services is offering same-day consultation appointments over the phone to assess your needs and work with you on problem-solving the issue at hand. Each clinician will work with you on figuring out any phone follow-up meetings and referral to a local clinician if needed. If you are in need of urgent clinical care and want to speak with a Psychological Emergency Clinician (PEC), Counseling Services is available over the phone. Referrals to local providers are also available. I also encourage you to take advantage of resources such as WellTrack, an online self-help program, and a variety of self-care resources that students can use to address stress, anxiety, and depression.
Women’s Center
The SANet hotline will continue to be staffed 24/7 through the end of the semester, and the CARE team will remain available to students, who can request an appointment by sending an e-mail to SANet@bc.edu.
