Christina Matz, an associate professor who co-directs The Center on Aging and Work, says social workers can anticipate, assess, and address the psychosocial needs of residents and serve as key liaisons between families and facilities.
Matz offered this guidance to members of the COVID-19 Rapid Response Network for Nursing Homes, an initiative of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement that is designed to help nursing homes protect residents and staff from COVID-19. View the presentation
