Diego Suárez Rojas got an abstract for a workshop accepted at SSWR 2022. The title is "How to Prepare Social Workers for Emancipatory and Meaningful Research? Neuroscientific Principles to Unleash Brain Potential."

In this workshop, Suárez Rojas will share his research on multimodal integration, imagination, and trauma to promote creativity and congruency in the research enterprise. Participants will learn some of the latest findings in neuroscience while acquiring specific guidelines on how to improve their own scientific development and that of their students.

Suárez Rojas will present alongside Dr. Jessica Black of BCSSW and Dr. Darcey Merritt of NYU.
