Halvorsen co-authors program for employment among older adults

Assistant Professor Cal Halvorsen co-authored “Job Training and so Much More for Low-Income Older Adults: The Senior Community Service Employment Program,” which was published in The Clinical Social Work Journal. Halvorsen was also quoted by AARP in a story that describes how age discrimination, caregiving, and health issues limit options for older workers. “Caregiving responsibilities are important and even though they are technically voluntary, they don’t feel as such,” Halvorsen said.
