Calvo Publishes Three Papers

Associate Professor Rocío Calvo published “Latinx use of traditional health care: The social network effect” with doctoral candidate Victor Figuereo in Health & Social Work, “A call to action: Re-imagining social work practice with unaccompanied minors” with doctoral candidate Kerri Evans in Advances in Social Work, and “Why are they so happy? Unraveling the happiness paradox of older Latinos” in Innovation in Aging with a co-author. She presented at the Gerontological Society of America’s Annual Scientific Meeting in Boston in November.
