Betancourt publishes article on mental health of Somai and Bhutanese refugees

Theresa Betancourt, the Salem Professor in Global Practice, recently published “Family-Based Mental Health Promotion for Somali Bantu and Bhutanese Refugees: Feasibility and Acceptability Trial” in the Journal of Adolescent Health. She gave a keynote address at the Helping Families Change Conference in Brisbane, Australia, titled “Promoting ECD and preventing violence in young children and families in facing adversity in Rwanda: Moving from effectiveness research to implementation science.” And she joined the UNICEF Senior Advisory Group for The State of the World’s Children Report.
