Cal Halvorsen named a Senior Research Fellow at the national nonprofit Encore.org

Cal Halvorsen, an assistant professor, was recently named a Senior Research Fellow at the national nonprofit Encore.org, where he’ll provide guidance on the organization’s research activities and the evaluation of its Gen2Gen Innovation Fellowship.

In partnership with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, Halvorsen has also co-authored a study that considered how the sole federal workforce training program for low-income older workers, the Senior Community Service Employment Program, influences the health and well-being of participants
