Twelve students from the Boston College School of Social Work have received awards for their outstanding contributions in the classroom, the community, and their field of practice during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Nicole Fortuno Abeleda and Takia C. Myers received the Dean's Leadership Award.
Abaigeal Doherty, Melissa W. Bartholomew, and Dale Arvy Dagar Maglalang received the Dean's Leadership Award for Equity, Justice, and Inclusion.
Seven students received Field of Practice awards for their outstanding contributions to the classroom and their field of practice:
Angelo W. Hunt III and Madison A. Summers received awards for their work in the Children, Youth, and Families field of practice.
Jannah Majeedah Muhammad received the award for her work in the Global Practice field of practice.
Katie L. Lyle-Beshai and Hannah Michal Singer received the award for their work in the Health and Mental Health field of practice.
Milton Joel received the award for his work in the Latinx Communities field of practice.
Polly Mills Fife received the award for her work in the Older Adults and Families field of practice.
