Dr. Colleen J. Shogan, Class of ‘97, has recently published two op-eds on suffragists in honor of National Women’s Suffrage Month.

As an undergraduate, Dr. Shogan minored in Women’s and Gender Studies as a History major, where she studied the women’s suffrage movement. Today, Dr. Shogan is the senior vice president of the White House Historical Association and the director of the David Rubenstein Center for White House History. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Women's Suffrage Centennial Commission, where her WGS classroom conversations no doubt come into play!

Dr. Shogan’s articles can be found at The Hill and The Tennessean.
