Arabic Forums
Online Arabic forums are a great way to improve one's Arabic, especially one's knowledge of a dialect. Forum users debate politics, economics, religion, family, music, television, and much, much more, and they often write the way they talk. Reading these forums can be a challenging yet rewarding experience.

al-Jazeera Television Programs
Al-Jazeera has many television programs that can be watched on its website. Better still, al-Jazeera usually provides the transcripts for entire shows, allowing students to read along when the audio becomes too difficult. Here are just a few of the shows available. Under individual episodes, look for the tab entitled Nuss al-Halqa (نص الحلقة).

Graduate Programs in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies
As part of the Islamic Civilization and Societies Program’s efforts to help students find the right path after their undergraduate studies at Boston College, below you will find a diverse list of graduate programs in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, both here in the United States and abroad.
While Boston College undergraduates are highly encouraged to apply to the interdisciplinary Master of Arts program in Middle Eastern Studies at Boston College, there are many similar programs throughout the world.
The list below primarily consists of programs devoted to Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, but it also includes many programs located in various other departments. When considering graduate school, students should also consider applying to degree programs in religion, political science, international relations, public policy, sociology, or history, many of which offer concentrations in Islamic or Middle Eastern studies.
This is hardly an exhaustive list. You will notice, for example, that many of the schools offer several types of related MA degrees. This list is simply meant to help you get started.
