Title: "Toward a Chinese Universal Ethic"
Director: Dr. M. Cathleen Kaveny
Readers: Dr. Stephen Pope, Dr. Kristin Heyer, and Dr. Peng Yin (Boston University)
Prior to receiving her dual graduate degrees in philosophy and theology, Qi Zeng was professionally involved for many years in the U.S. pharmaceutical and financial industries.
As a Ph.D. student in theological ethics, she is interested in global ethical issues found in the complex narratives of globalization, enculturation, and ethical conflicts. She sees a fruitful synthesis of Christian and other ethical traditions which may offer new possibilities to confront the tensions and conflicts found in various spheres of individual and collective value and moral claims.
