Hannah K.J. Bruckner is a Ph.D. student in the History of Christianity, with her primary historical interests being in the Medieval period. She completed her graduate thesis through the Harvard Extension School in May 2023 under the direction of Dr. Amy Hollywood on the topic of the “holy death wish” motif found in the writings of Beatrice of Nazareth, Richard of St. Victor, Marguerite Porete, and Margaret Ebner. She has a number of interests in the areas of theology and history, theology and literature, medieval spirituality, and feminist studies.
