Alexander Klee is a doctoral student in Systematic Theology. His research is situated at the intersection between psychology and theological anthropology; specifically, he explores questions surrounding the soul, affectivity, personhood, and the transmission of sin, drawing from the resources of medieval and twentieth-century theology, modern philosophy of emotion, and empirical psychology.
Alex was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to beginning the Ph.D. program, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Psychology at Wake Forest University. Thereafter, he completed his Master of Theological Studies at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Throughout, he has held research positions in the areas of developmental psychology, biblical studies, and religion and conflict.
