Lyn received training in acting as an intern at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and later studied with Rondi Reed of Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company. She was a founding member of Off the Cuff, an improvisational comedy troupe in Cincinnati, and Red Key Productions, an ensemble theatre company in Chicago.

Her areas of specialization are English and Irish Theatre during the Restoration and 18^th Century, and early 20^th Century American women playwrights. Lyn’s article on playwright Israel Horovitz was published in the Dictionary of Literary Biography.
