New collaborative research by Professor Andrew Jorgenson, current PhD Students Ryan Thombs and Xiaorui Huang, and recent PhD Alum Orla Kelly and Jared Fitzgerald indicates that income inequality exacerbates the harmful effect of fine particulate matter concentration on life expectancy in nations throughout the world. Their study is published in the journal Science of The Total Environment.
