Orla Kelly and Jared Fitzgerald Successfully Defend Their Dissertations

Orla Kelly defended her dissertation on March 31, and is titled “The Silver Bullet? A Cross-National Investigation of the Relationship Between Educational Attainment and Sustainability”. Jared Fitzgerald defended his dissertation on April 7, and is titled “Working Time, Inequality, and a Sustainable Future”. Both defenses took place virtually with attendees participating from all over the world. Orla will join the School of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice at University College Dublin, beginning Fall 2020, as a tenure track assistant professor. Jared will join the Department of Sociology at Oklahoma State University, also beginning Fall 2020, as a tenure track assistant professor. Congrats Dr. Kelly and Dr. Fitzgerald!
