Gifts to the Discretionary Fund of the Department of Physics will support our "100% guarantee" of a research opportunity for every undergraduate physics major.

Your donation enables these students to take part in invaluable laboratory experiences while gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge tools and processes, like those in the BC Integrated Science Clean Room and Nanofabrication Facility.

The Graduate Program in the Department of Physics is internationally competitive within the condensed matter/materials/nanoscale physics communities. Our graduates go on to highly successful postdocs and academic, national laboratory, and industrial careers. Together, our students and faculty contribute their scholarly and professional achievements to the reputation of the University.
