Phenomenology
Zen
Transcendentalism
Continental Philosophy
I earned my B.A. in Philosophy from Louisiana State University (LSU), graduating magna cum laude. During my undergraduate studies, I was trained in the classical tradition of philosophy from an Aristotelian perspective, under the guidance of scholars specializing in Ancient Philosophy. As my education progressed, my focus and training shifted towards the works of Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault, and Martin Heidegger, leading me to a deeper engagement with Continental Philosophy. This evolving interest has brought me to Boston College, where I am currently exploring Phenomenology, Zen, and the Philosophy of Literature, with a particular focus on Transcendentalism.
My ultimate goal is to teach, whether at the university or upper secondary level. I am profoundly inspired by American literature and hold a deep admiration for the works of Walt Whitman, James Baldwin, and Jack Kerouac for their embodiment and engagement with authentic human experience. In my spare time, I enjoy delving into Indian Philosophy and Spinoza, as well as immersing myself in nature.
