Biography

James Markis is currently an MA student with research interests in 20th century U.S. isolationism as well as the rise of Orthodox Christianity in 20th century America.

James graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with Bachelor's degrees in History and Political Science from Boston College in 2024. His Master's work will focus primarily on the correlation between Orthodox evangelization in America and the success of America's westward expansion in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
