Biography

Christian Egan is an M.A. student studying Indigenous America with a particular interest in spatial and material culture. His research has primarily focused on the peoples of the Northwest Coast and Great Lakes regions. His other research interests include the history of education in America and urban history, as well as a burgeoning passion for digital humanities.

Before joining the history department, Christian earned a B.A. in secondary education and history, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College. He previously taught the courses ERAL1100/1112 Experience, Reflection, and Action and ERAL4000 Restorative Justice and Prison Reform in Global Contexts in Boston College's Lynch School of Education.
