Jocelyn specializes in twentieth-century American culture and literature with a focus on material culture and the built environment. She is particularly interested in American culture during periods of social and political reform. Jocelyn has taught first-year writing at Boston College, and she currently serves as one of the assistant directors of the biennial Boston College English Graduate Conference.
Before joining the Ph.D. program, Jocelyn received her bachelor's degree in American history from Bates College, and she earned her master’s degree in English literature from Boston College.
