Andrew Petracca is a PhD student whose research interests include literary appreciation, aesthetic autonomy, affect, and meta-criticism. A bit of a generalist, Andrew writes about literature ranging from the Victorian era to contemporary American literature. These days, he finds himself writing about Dickens a lot. He’s always chasing the question Why do I love this book?
Andrew is also a Learning Management Systems Assistant in the Center for Digital Innovation and Learning at BC. Before coming to BC, he earned an MA at Case Western Reserve University, a BSEd at Central Connecticut State University, and an AA at Tunxis Community College.
