Hannah Clay (she/her) specializes in Victorian literature and culture. She is especially interested in disability and illness narratives, disability rhetorics, and the intersections between labor and disability. She holds a bachelor’s in English and Philosophy from Jacksonville University, an MA in English from Boston College, and a MLIS from Simmons University, where she concentrated on archival theory and management.
Hannah is passionate about teaching writing, which she has taught in junior high, high school, and college classrooms. Outside of her teaching and research, she has years of experience working in libraries and archives. She currently holds a position in the archival processing department at the Burns Library, where she works to make archival materials accessible to researchers and to preserve them for the future.
