C. Dale Young '91 makes his fiction debut in Affliction

C. Dale Young ('91) published a fourth book of poetry in spring 2016, The Halo (Four Way Books), and will make his fiction debut in early 2018 with Affliction, a novel-in-stories. He received a bachelor of science in molecular biology and English at Boston College and went on to earn an MFA in English and creative writing and a doctoral degree in medicine, both from the University of Florida. He's received writing fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and the Rockefeller Foundation and practices medicine in San Francisco.
