The culture within the Engineering Department is collaborative and supportive. Our HCE majors are a community, working together to use engineering to better our society and our world.
Our mission of engineering and service to others extends past our campus bounds. From study abroad opportunities to service trips around the world, when it comes to problem-solving, our students think globally.
We are committed to helping HCE majors pursue their career interest for internships and full-time careers after graduation. Our coursework and projects prepare students for a wide range of career options.
“I am gratified that our faculty's commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship can be found in the classroom as well as in their research labs. Working together, we are preparing our students to go out into the world as Engineers for Others.”
