Lecturer

Profile

Associate Editor: The Mountain Geologist (The Mountain Geologist is the quarterly peer-reviewed journal published by the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists (RMAG)

In the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Boston College my time is split between laboratory management; teaching my summer session 2 core course: EESC 1163, Environmental Issues and Resources; and my research.

I am a Sedimentary Geologist who studies the sedimentary sequences of eastern Massachusetts. Currently, I am focused on two manuscripts: 1) the Stratigraphy and sedimentology of the Pennsylvanian Pondville and Wamsutta Formations of the Norfolk Basin, with Prof. Richard Bailey, and 2) the Sedimentary Petrology of the Late Jurassic Morrison Formation, western Colorado, with Michael Robbins.
