M.S. student

Profile

I'm a Masters student originally from Westchester County, New York. My research is currently focused on incorporating Nitrogen stable isotope dynamics into Earth System modeling. My past research experience encompassed using Nitrogen isotopes to investigate air pollution in an urban environment, as well as reconstructing nutrient dynamics and ground-truthing isotope proxies in the ocean. In my free time I enjoy being active (usually playing soccer or tennis), spending time outside, and collecting and playing musical instruments (I currently have an otamatome, acoustic guitar, bass, keyboard, ukulele, clarinet, and my own voice (I am currently considering buying a banjo)).

Why did you choose Boston College for your postgraduate work?

I spent four years as a Boston College undergraduate and enjoyed my time here (mostly because of the amazing people), so the opportunity to come back was very enticing. I am very excited to expand on my own skillset by working with Professor Tian and incorporating modelling techniques and programming to make global biogeochemical analyses.
