Profile

I am passionate about understanding non-linear phenomena and complex systems through the lens of mathematics. With a B.S. in Physics from The Ohio State University, where I graduated with research distinction, and an M.S. in Physics from Boston College, I am currently pursuing my Ph.D., delving into the intricate world of weather and climate dynamics. My current research is centered on global circulation patterns, particularly the Hadley cell and the Walker cell. I am keenly interested in investigating how these patterns evolve under anthropogenic forcings and identifying the underlying physical mechanisms driving such changes. To explore these questions, I employ idealized climate models. In addition to my specific focus on climate dynamics, I have a broader curiosity about the interplay of multiscale problems that permeate both the realms of physics and climate science.
