PhD Alum Co-hosts EcoMod2019

Prof. Mario Fortuna, (PhD'83, pictured in center), co-hosted the International Conference on Economic Modeling and Data Science (EcoMod2019) in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal. The goal of the conference is to promote the exchange of ideas and experience among economists conducting quantitative analysis for policy and decision making in the public and private sectors. The conference covers all areas of modeling and data science applied to monetary, financial, fiscal, energy, environmental, labor, trade, and development issues.
