Language Proficiency and Placement Testing

The language proficiency and placement consultation/testing will take place on Thursday, August 23rd, 9am-11am.

Chinese Placement Test: Report to Gasson 203 for Written Test first before proceeding to Gasson 204 for an interview 
Japanese Placement Test: Gasson 201 
Korean Placement Test: Gasson 202
All other languages (Arabic, Bulgarian, Hebrew, Persian (Farsi), Polish, Russian): Consultation and referrals. Thursday, August 23rd, 9am, Lyons Hall 210.

A reminder: Testing to establish high-intermediate proficiency in any language involves minimally a demonstration of the ability to read and explicate a high-intermediate text written in the original script of the language in question. Many language areas also test for speaking, listening comprehension and writing.
