Professor wins 2016 Helen und Kurt-Wolff-Preis award

Professor Daniel Bowles won the 2016 Helen und Kurt-Wolff-Preis award, an annual prize honoring an exceptional literary translation of a German work published in the United States in English. Professor Bowles was given the award for the outstanding literary translation of the book "Imperium" by Christian Kracht.
