I am a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Prof. George Mohler and Prof. Jose Bento. I earned my first Master's degree in Quantum Information Theory from the Faculty of Sciences in Rabat, Morocco in 2017. My second Master's was in Condensed Matter and Statistical Physics from the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Trieste, Italy in 2018. After that I earned my PhD in Statistical Field Theory under the supervision of Prof. Gesualdo Delfino from the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) in Trieste, Italy in 2022.
My areas of interests are, but not limited to, developing and understanding novel network-based models with applications to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computational biology. My focus is more on the mathematical properties of network alignment models and algorithms. Other projects involve spatial-temporal point process modeling for public health, fairness-aware machine learning in criminal justice, and synthetic control methods with applications to criminal justice.
