AERA SIG Early Career Publication Award

The American Educational Research Association’s (AERA) Rasch Measurement Special Interest Group will present Wen-Chia Chang, Ph.D. ’17 (Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment), with its 2021 Georg William Rasch Early Career Publication Award. She was nominated for her work on “Measuring the Complexity of Teaching Practice for Equity: Development of a Scenario-format Scale,” an article in Teaching and Teacher Education: An International Journal of Research and Studies. Chang is a postdoctoral fellow in the Policy, Curriculum, and Leadership Academic Group at the National Institute of Education in Singapore. Her coauthors included Professor Larry Ludlow and Cawthorne Professor Marilyn Cochran-Smith. Read the journal article.
