Profile

Jennifer McLarnon is an information technology professional with 18 years of experience in education, and 8 years of technical and managerial experience in business strategy, information security and risk management, including strategic planning, technical project and program management, oversight of information security, third party management, business continuity and records management. She is a Security Consulting Senior Manager at Accenture, where she provides support to state accounts related to security sales and delivery. She is responsible for supporting client engagements from a security perspective, using a holistic approach that is tailored to the unique business needs of the client, leveraging her broad cybersecurity knowledge and the deep industry experience of Accenture Security, including OT security specific to public critical infrastructure. She has experience across a broad swath of technology, security, and operations transformation programs in the public sector and is also the Workday Security Lead for the Americas. 

In addition to her work at Accenture, McLarnon is an Adjunct Professor of Cybersecurity at Boston College Law School and Assumption University. Through her academic roles, she is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of cybersecurity leaders by integrating real-world practices and emerging trends into the classroom. Her dual commitment to both industry and education underscores her passion for advancing the cybersecurity field and fostering resilience in an increasingly digital world. 

Prior to joining Accenture, McLarnon worked as a CIO | CISO at at Boston College High School, a nationally recognized private, secondary school for boys in grades 7-12 in Boston, MA. McLarnon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Boston College. She has a Master of Science, Cybersecurity Policy and Governance, a C.A.E.S., Educational Leadership and a M.Ed., Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College.
