Advanced Evidence: Trial Objections
Eugenia M. (Genie) Carris has been an Adjunct Professor since 2016 and teaches Advanced Evidence: Trial Objections and Prosecutorial Ethics. She is currently Deputy Chief of the Public Corruption & Special Prosecutions Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Boston, where she has litigated cases in both the criminal and civil divisions for over twenty years. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and is a proud graduate of Boston College Law School. Following law school, she clerked for The Honorable Mark L. Wolf of the United States District Court in Massachusetts. She spent several years in private practice at a large Boston firm. She has extensive litigation and trial experience, having worked as a Special Assistant District Attorney and for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.
