Carlos M. Teuscher

Profile

Carlos Masashi Teuscher is an associate clinical professor at Boston College Law School and director of BC Law's Community Enterprise Clinic. In the clinic, Teuscher trains and supervises student attorneys representing cooperative and other democratically-owned enterprises, grassroots organizations, nonprofits, and small businesses throughout Massachusetts on various transactional matters.

Before joining BC Law, Teuscher was an assistant clinical professor at Suffolk University Law School where he founded and directed its Transactional Clinic and taught courses on transactional practice, community economic development, and secured transactions. Teuscher also worked as a lecturer in law and clinical instructor at Harvard Law School where he directed the Community Enterprise Project of the Transactional Law Clinics and taught courses on transactional public interest law. 

Prior to teaching, Teuscher practiced law at the international firms Linklaters and Dechert. He currently serves as a member of the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.S. in biological sciences from the University of Southern California.
