What was your favorite experience in the BC MBA program?

I enjoyed the entire first year, which included an intense and fast-paced learning schedule while also meeting new classmates for the first time. My first year was the most memorable given all of the learning and networking opportunities with classmates, professors, and industry professionals.

Looking back on the BC MBA curriculum, what was your favorite class you took?

My favorite class was Managing People and Organizations. This class was interesting because it covered a wide range of topics related to managing individuals and teams in organizations. I enjoyed the discussions on human behavior and organizational structure, as well as the course’s emphasis on real-world application and presentation skills.

How did your classmates impact your MBA experience?

Classmates played a crucial role in shaping my MBA experience. I took advantage of networking opportunities with classmates, learned from them through their personal and professional experiences, collaborated with them on projects and assignments, and built long-lasting friendships and connections.

What is your advice for future BC MBA students?

My advice for future BC MBA students is:

Stay organized: The MBA program can be challenging and time-consuming, so it's important to stay on top of your coursework and assignments by being proactively organized.

Build relationships: A highlight of business school is the chance to really focus your time and energy on building your network. Take advantage of as many opportunities as you can to connect with classmates, alumni, and business professionals.

Develop your professional persona: The BC MBA offers robust career services, including personalized coaching, workshops, and networking events that can help you explore career pathways, build your resume, and prepare for interviews. Dedicate yourself to fine tuning your professional profile and preferences in business school as this will definitely pay off post-degree.

Focus on learning: While grades are important, the most valuable aspects of the BC MBA are the core and long-term knowledge, skills, and frameworks you will gain from the program.
