Unbelievable Comeback

In an almost unimaginable feat, the baseball Eagles, trailing 9-1, rallied with two outs in the 9th inning to beat Auburn on Sunday. Carroll School students Sal Frelick ’22 and Luke Gold ’23 clinched the deal with home runs. Two days earlier, they each hit a pair of homers. Frelick (who was named ACC Baseball Player of the Week) and Gold have been standout sluggers this year, now batting .476 and .366 respectively. After winning the series in Alabama, the Eagles returned to the Heights with an 8-2 record overall.
