Congratulations to the Summer Management Catalyst Program's Class of '22! This past summer, 76 arts and sciences majors graduated from Catalyst, an intensive eight-week, eleven-credit program.

Catalyst is an intensive for-credit program for non-business students.

Offered both in-person and remotely, the curriculum is designed to give non-management majors a broad foundation in the functional areas, or core disciplines, of management. Students take courses in accounting, finance, marketing, Excel, business law, and career strategies. Most students (mainly from Boston College's Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences) parlay the credits into minors in management at the Carroll School of Management.

The Carroll School launched Catalyst in 2014 with 33 students. Aside from learning how organizations operate, students use the program to land competitive internships as well as full-time jobs in management upon graduation from Boston College.
